Feng Shui Decorating - What Symbolic Items Mean

Feng Shui is an ancient Chinese art of placement to encourage the flow of "chi" or energy through a person's living or work space. It is used to attract such things as prosperity, love, wealth, good luck, health, a successful career, balance, harmony, contentment, and happy relationship. Wouldn't you like these in your life? Items connected to wood, water, fire, metal and earth are used for Feng Shui decorating to attract these benefits to the inhabitant of the space. If budget concern limit the use of actual objects such as symbols or statues depicting these items, their facsimiles are often used in the form of photographs, posters, sketches, paper sculptures, etc. The lifestyle mainly has to do with placement of furniture in an arrangement to allow chi to flow through the home or workspace, but decorative items placed in various locations can also be important. When possible, Feng Shui advocates that the items should be in pairs.

According to the ancient Chinese, for example, some Feng Shui symbols are golden pigs ( especially in new homes ); mandarin ducks ( symbols of fidelity ); dragon ( for protection ); bells ( placed outside homes ); plants ( placed indoor for wealth ); a metal dish with coins ( for wealth ); a dragon and pheonix ( side by side for happy union ); three coins tied with red ribbon ( good luck and prosperity ); white tigers ( because of their aggresiveness, not to be displayed in the house ); goldfish ( a symbol of prosperity ); fountains ( outside the home to reflect the beauty of nature ); turtles ( containing the secrets of the universe ); fish tank ( people are drawn to them ); Fu dogs ( for protection ); three star gods ( for wealth ); three-legged toad ( a symbol of fortune ); indoor water fountain ( to attract what you desire ); and a crystal lotus for luck.

Mirrors are used to attract chi benefits as they can alter the chi flow; bring a sense of rejuvenation and also bring calm. It is believed however, that placing a mirror across from a bed can bring a third party into a relationship. Also, if you experience pressures at work, bankruptcy, legal or other problems after your fish tank has been in a location for a few months, move it to another spot.

Feng Shui decorating is all about being in harmony with nature. According to the ancient Chinese, yin and yang ( opposites ) are active in our lives everyday, and creating a balance between the two is necessary. Decorating can be an important part of this.

Wouldn't you love to learn about arranging your home with Feng Shui to create balance, harmony, and contentment, and to attract love, happiness, prosperity, wealth, protection and good luck?

Feng Shui house - Basics every house owner should know.

Making a Feng Shui house is a several thousand year old practice that combines the art and science of living clean. Ancient Chinese cultures believed that everything has energies, positive and negative, bad and good energy, and Chinese Feng Shui was the practice of achieving a balance of those energies. If good Feng Shui has been around for such a long time, what has brought about the rise in popularity?
One reason it has become so popular is seen each day on the news channels. All the overseas wars, warring against violence and drugs in our country and all the stress that comes from other parts of our lives. People want to find answers to make life easier to deal with. Since their home decor is able to be easily changed, more and more people are trying out Feng Shui design.
How to Feng Shui is not just about changing things in the home for the balance of good and bad energy; it is also a way of life. It is not a myth or a religious fad. Good Feng Shui keeping a balance and things in harmony. It's actually a science that is well researched that actually shapes your entire being and world so that you can enjoy prosperity and health in each area of your life. Basically, a Feng Shui guide gives you powerful tools to accomplish those changes.
Since Feng Shui brings together art and science, these principles are carried through every area of the two subjects from studying the stars to architecture to decorating and design. You'll actually find, the same principles that define science itself also could be applied to the ancient practice of Feng Shui cures as well.
When it comes to science you learn to identify, describe, and take time to observe a problem, and do an experiment to come up with a hypothesis. In Feng Shui, you must look to find any problems that could disrupt chi using certain tools, like a Ba Gua and a compass designed for Feng Shui. After that, make changes like the wall colors, how furniture is arranged and other options that help you to redirect your home's energies for a better balance of energy, or chi.
In the end, Feng Shui house is a way that people can be helped through art and science. Those who have used it, even with reservations, have changed their minds and started promoting Feng Shui house. This happens because Feng Shui design has totally changed their entire life.

Living near a cemetery.

One aspect of a Feng Shui evaluation is to analyze the environment surrounding a building. When using Feng Shui to choice a home, most Feng Shui consultants will tell you not to pick one close to a cemetery. After looking at a beautiful home this past week that just happens to have a cemetery adjacent to the back yard, I decided to take another look at the idea of living near a cemetery.
Why care about what surrounds your home? Why not just focus on the internal energy? Well, simply put, the outside energy affects the internal energy of your home. Too much Yang energy is easier to feel than too much Yin. Here's an example. Think of a home that has a busy highway running behind it. The fast moving energy and noise pollution gives the inhabitants an unsettled feeling, even on the inside of the home. A home like this would be described as unbalanced because it has energy that is too Yang. Yang energy is bright, loud, and hot.
Having your home next to a cemetery is just the opposite. The overall energy becomes unbalanced as well. Homes next to a graveyard or cemetery are too Yin instead of Yang. Energy that is overly Yin is harder for us to feel, though. Although viewed like a quiet park by some, others are very unsettled by the quiet process of decomposing that is occurring. Having a Yin home may not bother one at first, but little by little, it can make the inhabitants of that home decline, by reducing their drive. The same can be true of living near a stagnant body of water.
What can be done if you find yourself living in a home you love that is adjacent to one of these situations? First step is to buffer your home from the energy. For example, the house I looked at this week has a ravine full of large trees in-between it and the cemetery. Adding Yang elements to the area near the cemetery would be helpful in balancing the energy. Examples of this would be outdoor lighting, bright flowers, flowering shrubs, a fire pit or a chiminea. Fire and light are very Yang elements and would work to balance the energy. On the flip side, an example of reducing activity in the house that is too Yang, would be to add Yin elements. Again, adding trees and shrubs which can filter sound and light energy will help. In addition to you could add the ultimate Yin element; earth. A decorative brink or stone wall or even a mound of soil with landscaping on top would help to balance the energy and buffer the home. As always, think about what makes sense in your landscaping before adding remedies.
Making sure your home is sheltered and balanced from external elements will have the biggest effect on the internal energy. Be sure that any Feng Shui consultant you use analyzes not only the interior but also the exterior. This will help to ensure a supportive environment.

3. Michael Jackson - The Truth Revealed !

Yahoo News released the death findings report today, 26/8/09. I have copied and pasted the report here :
Michael Jackson's death homicide: coroner

AFP - Saturday, August 29
LOS ANGELES (AFP) - - Michael Jackson's death was declared a homicide by Los Angeles coroners on Friday as they revealed the singer had a lethal cocktail of six different drugs in his body when he died.
Ending several weeks of feverish speculation following Jackson's sudden death in Los Angeles on June 25, the county coroner's office issued a brief statement ruling that the superstar's death was unlawful.
The statement said that while "acute intoxication" from the powerful anesthetic propofol was the primary cause of death, Jackson, 50, had also suffered from the effects of other drugs in his system.
As well as propofol, powerful drugs including lorazepam, midazolam, diazepam, lidocaine and ephedrine were found in Jackson's body.
The coroner's statement said police investigators and public prosecutors had ordered that the full toxicology report concerning Jackson be withheld until further notice.
Jackson's family welcomed the findings.
"The Jackson family again wishes to commend the actions of the coroner, the LAPD and other law enforcement agencies, and looks forward to the day that justice can be served," the family said in a statement.
The coroner's announcement will fuel speculation that authorities are likely to charge Jackson's personal physician Conrad Murray in connection with the death. Cardiologist Murray was the last person to see Jackson alive.
A lawyer for Murray issued a barbed statement to Friday's announcement, saying the coroner's release "contains nothing new."
"For two months we have been hearing the same information, usually from leaks out of the coroner's office," attorney Ed Chernoff said in a statement.
"One has to wonder why the coroner felt compelled to release anything at all if the police investigation is not yet complete."
According to court documents unsealed in Houston, Texas, on Monday, multiple drugs were administered to Jackson by Murray in the hours before his death.
Chief Medical Examiner-Coroner Lakshmanan Sathyavagiswaran "reviewed the preliminary toxicology results and his preliminary assessment of Jackson's cause of death was due to lethal levels of propofol."
Murray administered propofol and other drugs to Jackson -- at the star's insistence -- to treat his insomnia, but was worried Jackson had developed an addiction and "tried to wean Jackson off of the drug," the affidavit said.
Propofol is a powerful anesthetic used to induce unconsciousness in patients undergoing major surgery in hospital. Medical professionals say it should never be used by private individuals at home.
The affidavit unsealed on Monday revealed that Murray confessed to investigators two days after the star died that he had been giving Jackson 50 milligrams of propofol nightly during the six weeks prior to the event.
As part of their investigation, police and federal agents have already raided Murray's offices in Las Vegas, Nevada and Houston, Texas, as well as a Las Vegas pharmacy that provided the drugs.
Murray told investigators he was not the first doctor to administer propofol to the King of Pop, who referred to the drug as his "milk," LAPD detective Orlando Martinez wrote in the affidavit, citing the cardiologist.
Medical experts said the cocktail of drugs apparently given to Jackson was extremely dangerous and police would need to determine whether administering it was tantamount to medical negligence.
"If all of these drugs... are also shown, this would be a classical case of acute combined drug toxicity," forensic pathologist Cyril Wecht told CNN.
Jackson is to be buried at a cemetery in Glendale, California on September 3, his family announced last week. They had originally planned to bury him on Saturday -- the day he would have turned 51.
From the above bold statements, my analysis have proven right ! Please refer to the previous posts for the analysis. You can see how accurate is BaZi. When the water subsided, you can see what is at the bottom.
Thank you! Have a good day!

2. Why did Michael Jackson died?

Let me tell you briefly about his life :

1. Earth - From age 1 to 15, he had many friends and were also his competitors. His siblings were not supportive that made him to be independent.

2. Fire - Michael was self-centred and selfish in character. He had supports from superiors. His mother was not closed to him. There was no support and resources from his mother. His mother is noble and healthy. She is closed to his children.

3. Water - From age 16 to 30, Michael had some direct wealth from his performance but no unexpected wealth in his life. His wife is unsupportive to him and maintain strict discipline. His father was not closed to him most of the time.

4. Wood - Michael had a lot of pressure from his wife. His children are closed to his wife.

5. Metal - Michael was intelligent, creative, daring and had excellent expressive ability such as singing and arts.

Next, I touch on his life luck cycle :
His luck cycle started at the age of 3. Every 10 years has an unique luck from a pair of Heavenly stem (HS) and Earthly branch (EB).

1. Age 3 to 12 - H8, -metal / E10, -metal.
In this 10 years, there was excellent expressive ability luck in his growing up years. He learned to sing and dance. He was successful in his performance as a young boy. He had arts talents.

2. Age 13 to 22 - H9, +water / E11, +earth.
Michael's popularity grown. He become a public figure in his teenage years. He had buddies joined him to sing and dance. His performance started to bring revenue.

3. Age 23 to 32 - H10, -water / E12, -water.
In this 10 years, he had excellent wealth luck. More and huge revenue came to him easily from his performance. Michael became rich and famous. That was how he got money to change his hair style and facial outlook from expensive surgeries. He wanted to be looked like "ang moh" in his "ang moh" communities. He also got married with an "ang moh" wife with his white face within this 10 years.

4. Age 33 to 42 - H1, +wood / E1, +water.
In the first 5 years of his marriage, Michael faced a lot of problems from his wife. From his BaZi, he cannot get along well with his wife. ( I do not know his wife's BaZi ). Both husband and wife had disputes caused by each other differences and characters. ( His wife thought that she would be happy by his new handsome face at that moment of agreeing to marry him.). From Michael's BaZi analysis, Michael was a good man, he was not a womaniser. I am very sure, no worry. He don't flirt, don't play with women, he was not obssessed with sex. He did not even had "Peach Blossom" lucks in his life. Women hate seeing him but love his songs and dances. Ok that is enough about his love life. About money issue, his revenue was growing but he cannot save his money. Why? Look at this 10 year pillar, water is feeding wood. Michael wanted a good status and high standard of living with his family when he became somebody. He spent a lot money in his rented luxurious apartment until he was almost broke. Broke never mind but he still want face. Until today Michael is not a millionaire. This fact can be proven that he had no more massive wealth coming to him from the rest of his luck cycle.

5. Age 43 to 52 - H2, -wood / E2, -earth.
In this 10 years of his life, lucks become to be unfavourable to him. I feel sad for him because he did not treasure his wealth and good times. In the first 5 years, wife relationship was still bad. No improvement. He had some competitors in his fields. In the 2nd 5 years of this period, the years are 2008( age 48 ), 2009( age 49 ), 2010( age 50 ), 2011( age 51 ) and 2012 ( age 53 ).
He died on 25 June 2009 at 1426 hrs in the USA. From Hsia calender, the death date and hour is represented as :
Year - H6, -earth / E2, -earth
Month - H7, +metal / E7, +fire
Day - H8, -metal / E2, -earth
Hour - H2, -wood / E8, -earth

From his BaZi analysis, E2, -earth is inauspicious for him. When E2 combines with E11 of his BaZi year pillar, the end result becomes "Strangle star". This means that Michael was vulnerable to fatal accidents which causes death, lawsuit and imprisonment.
Furthermore, there is 1 more bad star "Heaven void" appears in the Shi Shen of month pillar of his BaZi, which brings bad fortune and reduced life span. This bad star had been fixed there for life. Nobody can change it. But the bad star E2 changes with time and can be avoided if necessary Feng Shui enhancement was activated. Therefore, there are 3 E2 stars that came on the 25 June 2009 and his BaZi has Heaven void in month pillar that caused him to die by accident in his home. But what accident he had ? He had long term medications for his hair and face surgeries that induced side effects like pains and headaches. On that day, most probably Michael might have taken the wrong dosage of drugs at the wrong time schedule. This is most likely accident that caused him to went into coma and finally unable to wake up....

Many media and sources had been reported that Michael was murdered ( he was broke now), killed by enemy and etc... Now his personal doctor had become the prime suspect. No verdict had come out after extensive investigations by police experts. I wish that the relevant authorities in the USA have read my analysis and provide them helpful leads to their investigation.

For the readers: I am not a fan of Michael nor he is my idol. At the time of writing this blog, I have no prior knowledge about him. I heard his death from newspapers and internet. My analysis is solely based on his BaZi and Date of death.
Thank you !

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

From the above BaZi, Self is H5, +earth is like a hill and season is E9, +metal, early autumn.
Self is born in the last 15 days of Fading Summer where H7, +metal is dominating. In autumn, metal prospers, water born, earth retreats, fire imprisons and wood dies. There are 3 earths, 2 metals, 2 fires and 1 wood. Although Self is not born is season, Self is strong because there are 2 +earths to strengthen self and 2 -fires to produce earth. The BaZi is a normal category.

The BaZi is unbalanced with strong earths and supporting fires which is not favourable in Feng Shui. To counter balance the strong earth forces, the earth element must be reduced, controlled or exhausted. Therefore, more metal elements are needed to exhaust the earth element in the cycle of birth. The 2nd favourable element is water to weaken the earth element in the cycle of destruction.

Now, the favourable elements are 1st choice- metal and 2nd choice - water. The remainder are the unfavourable elements i.e. earth, fire and wood.

I continue the analysis in the next blog. Thank you. :)>

3. What is Feng Shui?

Continue from post 2:

In the last few dynasties of China, Feng Shui, as well as Buddhism and Confucianism had flourished to great heights. Common folks and emperors in their imperial palaces practiced Feng Shui widely and freely during the Ching dynasty. When China was ruled by the early communist regime, Feng Shui was banned. Feng Shui masters and anyone who taught and practiced Feng Shui were executed immediately. In order for self survival and to keep the art, they migrated to the South known as Nanyang, Hong Kong, Taiwan and the West. ( If Feng Shui is a science, then why did the communist regime was so paranoid to ban it and execute innocent Feng Shui peoples? Think about it! )

When Feng Shui is practised and applied correctly, it will bring good health, good fortunes, good wealth and prosperity to the peoples, to the community and eventually to the country. When Feng Shui is done wrongly, it still works but the effects will be reversed. Feng Shui is a science about the interaction among the 5 elements and an art of living in harmony with the environment.

2. What is Feng Shui?

Continue from the post 1 :

The picture shown is Physicist Albert Einstein who said that energy increased when the velocity is increased to near speed of light and the weight of a body is a tiny constant. In simple language, when speed increased, the energy becomes enormous and powerful for a tiny particle. The tiny particle carry the enormous energy to move in a straight line is very destructive to anything. This is Einstein's energy equation.

During World War 2, Albert Einstein proposed to US President to make atomic bomb using his energy equation to stop the aggressive Japanese military. In the year 1945, 2 atomic bombs were dropped to the cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan. Many Japanese peoples died from the deadly explosion and excessive radiation. Japan surrendered unconditionally and World War 2 ended. Hence the energy equation shocked the world and made history. Albert Einstein won a Nobel prize for his science contribution and promote world peace. He became a well known scientist until today.

The ancient geomancers said it is harmful when chi is strong and enormous for the dead and living. The enormous chi brings bad lucks and misfortunes to peoples. The desired chi must be gentle, slow but not too slow and moves meandering (not linear). The ancient chinese geomancers had proven right without mathematics expression before Albert Einstein. So, do you think Feng Shui is a science, a religion, a magic or a fairy tale?

The space here is running out again. I continue in the next blog. Thank you.

1. What is Feng Shui?

Feng Shui is an ancient chinese science and art of living in harmony with the environment. This ancient science existed earlier than the Shakyamuni buddha, nearly 6000 years ago in prehistoric China. The history of Shakyamuni buddha is about 2500 years old only. ( Imagine who has the greatest wisdom! ). In the ancient days, early chinese civilisation used Feng Shui to check for good weather and time for their crops farming.

The ancient Kings and Emperors of China together with their geomancers studied Feng Shui for their war strategies to dominate other tribes and widen their boundaries. That is why only the rich and royal families had access to learn Feng Shui. Hence Feng Shui was kept as a secret to themselves. At that time, neither Sun Tze Bing Fa ( the Art of War ) nor Confucius was born yet.

The ancient chinese scholars developed Feng Shui further with proven results from different perceptions and angles, it became a theory. At that time, Feng Shui is about studies of movement and speed of "chi" which travels with wind and water. That is why Feng Shui is literally known as wind water. "Chi" literally means energy. The ancient chinese referred it as cosmic energy from the universe. ( Imagine how advanced the ancient chinese are? ) They knew "energy" earlier than Albert Einstein from the West. In year 1905, Albert Einstein discovered the relationship of E = mc2 where E is energy, m is mass of body and c is speed of light to the power of 2.

The space here is running out. I continue my talking in the next blog.

Thank you!
